purple condo... #3

This year I spent New Years weekend with some fantastic friends. My mom watched the girls for the weekend which I'm completely grateful for!(THANKS MOM!)

We went to Port Aransas and stayed in a condo that was about a 5 minute walk from the beach. A purple condo... #3. 11 of us in our condo, with 3 other condos filled with single Mormons. Our condo may have rocked the most. :)

It was foggy... in fact we basically lived in a cloud, which was quite the experience.

Standing in front of the ocean, at night, surrounded by fog, where no one can see or hear you and you can't see or hear them is sublime.

I brought my camera, which helped us create some amazing memories. You would never try to synchronize 10+ people jumping in the air if you didn't have a camera... right? It was a blast, thanks to my co-photographer who helped make sure there were plenty of pictures of everyone. (All of the pictures are on Facebook, so go there for a full recap).

I got a combined 9 hours of sleep those 2 nights, and I don't regret it.

We did an 8am morning run, ate a huge delicious breakfast, had 2 bonfires, played on the beach, rode on a ferry, watched pelicans, ate at Moby Dick's, ate at Port Aransas's version of Sulivan's (at least price-wise, not taste-wise... I have no idea what the restaurant was really called), played card games, had dance parties, never turned on the TV. I did 3 loads of laundry, changed outfits multiple times a day, took a bunch of showers, never slept in, never took a nap. We made the most of every single minute... it was beyond perfect.

Happy New Year!

P.S. I've made some resolutions, but I'm not telling. :)
